Sexuality: Primarily heterosexual, but possibly bicurious in order to gain an advantage.
Appearance: Selina Kyle started out as nothing much to write home about. Sure, she was alright enough to look at, but it was just she was so mousey. Her blonde hair was always up in a bun and she wore dowdy clothes that made her look much older than she actually is. A lack of confidence also hurt her chances at looking attractive.

However, after becoming Catwoman, Selina is a completely different person. She oozes confidence and raw charisma. This ups her sex appeal. Now, she wears skin-tight clothes and bold makeup. Her eyes took on a sharp, catlike quality, which most likely has to do with the origin of her rebirth.

The uniform she wears while playing her role as a thief is homemade, comprised of vinyl with visible stitches. It's slinky for a purpose, though; a tight outfit is easier to maneuver in. True to her name, her cowl has two cat ears.
Personality: "Life's a bitch, and now, so am I" is Selina's motto. Before Catwoman, Kyle was a doormat walked all over by her employer and the men in her life.

The new Selina doesn't take that. Catwoman is a femme fatale to the t. She will use people now rather than be the used. Brassy and outspoken, she is not afraid to put anyone in their place. This anyone includes a certain vigilante bat. Her skills in seduction are an important facet of her personality. Unlike some, Kyle is not afraid to use her sexuality. After all, it's just another weapon.

She is not so much a villian as she an anti-hero, because she saves women in peril. Unfortunately, someone who dresses up as a cat and steals for kicks can't be all there upstairs. Because she was so wronged, Selina is ever-so-slightly deranged and vindictive. This leads to her violent temper, even towards the victims she saves from crimes. She blames them for being weak, like her former self, and putting themselves in the situation to begin with.
Abilities: Much like Batman himself, Catwoman has no powers. In a way not even she herself understands, Selina gained her abilities after her "death."

She is flexible and an able fighter, talented enough to go up against the Dark Knight. Her preferred weapon is a whip, though she can make due with pretty much anything. Additionally, she seems to be smart when it comes to pulling off heists. In the movie, she blows up a store with excellent timing using only a microwave and a can of hairspray.

One unique quality about Burton's Catwoman is that she has nine lives. The exact specifics of this ability was never completely explained in the movie, but one can assume it's some kind of healing factor that can only be used nine times. This healing factor has been used eight times, thus she only has one "life" left. In addition, said ability will be weakened significantly in this game. While in the movie she is able to survive gunshot wounds and electrocution, in Manhattan she will be limited to mending broken bones or gashes.
Weaknesses: Catwoman is a tad crazy. Not so much Arkham-level crazy as angry crazy. Thus, get her angry and you can throw her off. Be warned, she is driven for revenge. So she can hold a grudge like crazy, for all nine of her lives. A mentally unstable cat burglar is not always the best thing to have hanging around.

Selina appears to have somewhat of a soft spot for cats, and to a lesser extent, abused women. She has feelings for Bruce Wayne. These feelings might, just might, be love. Any way you look at it, she is fond of him.

She also likes to steal things. A lot. This kleptomania may have existed all her life and heightened when she became Catwoman, or it might be part of her madness.

History: Selina Kyle was Max Shreck's overworked and underpaid secretary. She was recently out of a relationship, constantly bugged by her mother, and living in a crappy apartment with her cat. To make a long story short, her life was going nowhere fast.

That was, until, she learned too much.

Clichés aside, Selina found plans Max had for building a power plant that would actually steal power from Gotham. Max found out she knew and naturally did what any good boss would do. He fired her by pushing her out the window. That was much easier than filling out all that paperwork.

As Miss Kyle's body lay on the snowy sidewalk, a pack of stray cats ran over her. This somehow brought her back to "life", and makes us wonder if she was dead in the first place. She makes it home and listens to a message on her answering machine. The message mentions her ex-boss, and Selina Kyle snaps.

She trashes her apartment and makes a costume, thus creating Catwoman. Catwoman can steal and get revenge, things Selina cannot do. From there, she goes on the prowl, thieving and blowing up buildings her wake.

She and Batman go toe to toe several times, and the two begin to have a sexual chemistry. This relationship mirrors the one forming between Selina and Bruce Wayne.

Catwoman eventually teams up with The Penguin, and the two successfully frame Batman for kidnapping and murder. The two part ways because Catwoman refuses Penguins advances. Selina begins to feel regretful, because she has growing feelings for Bruce.

At Max Shreck's Christmas Ball, Selina and Bruce meet and dance. They discover each other's secret identities and know they cannot be together. The Penguin then crashes the party and kidnaps Shreck.

Catwoman and Batman tail him to his lair, the penguin habitat at the zoo. Batman manages to defeat Penguin, but Shreck pulls out a gun and shoots at him. Catwoman, despite Batman's pleas, electrocutes Shreck and herself.

The body couldn't be found, and Bruce assumed Selina was dead. Turns out the cat found her way to the big apple.
